9-26-15 Athlete of the Week
Our Tyler Roth/WKVI Athlete of the Week for this week is Lauren Bailey, the one-member Golf Team at LaCrosse High School.
Lauren advanced to the Regional round of the State Golf Tournament for the fourth year in a row, shooting an 89 under less-than-ideal conditions at the Valparaiso Country Club in the Sectional last week, placing her 6th in the overall meet and, in the top 3 individuals whose team did not advance.
The veteran senior, coached by her Dad, missed advancing to the State by a single stroke as a Junior on the challenging Battleground course when she shot an 80.
Lauren is the daughter of Julie and Scott Bailey.
