Dylan Ingram 11/29/14
Our Tyler Roth/WKVI Athlete of the Week for this week is Dylan Ingram, a member of the Boys Basketball team at West Central High School.
Dylan led his team to a season-opening victory over traditional powerhouse Kouts for the first time in 6 years, 59-49, giving new Head Coach Kyle Evans his first win as a varsity Coach.
The 6-3 veteran poured in 32 points, hauled down 9 rebounds, went 5-for-7 at the free throw line, had 2 steals and hit a 3 pointer as the Trojans took the lead in the first quarter and never looked back.
The performance was by far his best as a 3-year regular and one in which he showed great senior leadership that also included 2 blocked shots in the game.
Dylan is the son of Susan and Cory Ames.
