Hannah Coad 1/31/15
Our Tyler Roth/WKVI Athlete of the Week for this week is Hannah Coad, a member of the Girls Basketball team at Knox High School.
Hannah led her team to a 45-40 win over arch-rival North Judson, and has been a big key to the Lady Redskins’ 7 straight wins as they have turned around since an 0-10 start.
The 5-4 junior not only led her team in scoring with 14 points against the Blue Jays, but hauled down a team-high 9 rebounds from her point guard position and added a steal and 2 assists. She followed that with 5 points, 8 rebounds, 3 steals and 2 assists in a forfeit win over Andrean. Coad then tallied 18 points, 5 steals, 4 assists, and 3 rebounds in a win over Wheeler.
A 3-year letter winner, Hannah is the daughter of Nancy and James Coad.
