Jacob Clindaniel 1/17/15
Our Tyler Roth/WKVI Athlete of the Week for this week is Jacob Clindaniel, a member of the Boys Basketball team at South Central High School.
Jacob helped lead his team to an historic 51-48 win over the LaPorte Slicers. The win was the first time the Satellites had beaten their cross-county rivals in 20 years, and the first time ever on the Slicers home floor.
Clindaniel led all scorers with 19 points, including three 3-pointers, and hit 6-for-6 at the free throw line all in the fourth quarter. The 6-1 junior also added 3 rebounds, forced 2 turnovers, and had an assist as the Satellites won their 8th game of the year.
A 3-sport athlete at South Central, Jacob is the son of Paula and Monte Clindaniel.
