Tyler Roth/WKVI Athlete of the Week 9-28-19
Our Tyler Roth/WKVI Athlete of the Week for this week is Caleb Shireman, a member of the Boys Tennis Team at North Judson San-Pierre High School. Caleb set a school record while helping lead his team to their first ever Hoosier North Athletic Conference Tournament Championship. In the tough HNAC Tournament, the veteran Senior beat his opponent from Laville 6-0, 6-0 then topped his Knox opponent in a tough battle 6-2, 4-6, 6-1. The Tournament wins gave him an overall season record of 16-1, the best in the history of Bluejay Tennis!
Caleb is the son of Bob and Jamie Shireman.

Caleb will receive a certificate suitable for framing, a history of the award, and a t-shirt commemorating his achievement, and will be a future guest on the Saturday Sportsline.
He will also be eligible for our Tyler Roth/WKVI Athlete of the Year award next Spring, which carries with it a beautiful plaque and a college scholarship, compliments of WKVI and the Family of Tyler Roth.
