TYLER ROTH/WKVI ATHLETE OF THE WEEK (08/19/17)
Our Tyler Roth/WKVI Athlete of the Week for this week is Dawson Patrick, a member of the Football Team at Knox High School.
Dawson helped lead his team to a resounding 41-12 victory over Hoosier North Conference rival Winamac with outstanding play on both sides of the ball.
The 5-10, 225-pound Junior carried the ball 13 times for 91 yards and 2 touchdowns and caught a 25-yard pass from tight end Austin Risner for his third score of the game. He also helped lead the charge defensively with 3 tackles from his linebacker spot.

Dawson will receive a certificate suitable for framing, a history of the Award and a T-shirt commemorating his achievement.
He’ll also be eligible for our Tyler Roth/WKVI Athlete of the Year Award next Spring, which carries with it a beautiful plaque and a college scholarship, compliments of WKVI and the Family of Tyler Roth.
