Two Plymouth Rockies have made the Indiana Football Coaches Association Junior All-State team. Jeremy Drudge and Nate LaFree have been elected to the team.
Drudge, a 6-3 junior, made the team as a safety. He finished this past year as the second leading tackler for the 2016 edition of the Plymouth Rockies. The 6-0, 245 lb. LaFree was a two-way player for the Rockies this past fall. Offensively he played both tackle and guard. Defensively he played inside linebacker. He made the team as an offensive lineman.
Congratulations to these two Rockie players! We wish them continued success in the future as they are both multi-sport athletes for the Pilgrims/Rockies.
The John Glenn Falcons JV boys team dropped their second close contest of the year Monday at Bremen, 40-37. Cory Barker’s hot shooting carried the Falcons to a five point halftime advantage. They visit Elkhart Central on Friday.
