schutzsigningDONALDSON, IN – Brooklyn Schutz, a senior at Elkhart Memorial High School, recently signed her National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Letter of Intent to continue her bowling career at Ancilla College.

Schutz is a four year varsity award recipient for bowling from Elkhart Memorial. During her high school bowling career, she was a Semi-State finalist in 2014 and 2015 and a State Finalist in 2016. Ancilla’s Head Bowling Coach Al Franklin commented on Schutz, “Brooklyn will be a great addition to our program both academically and athletically. We look forward to having her a part of our team and look forward to watching her continue to grow her bowling skills.”

When asked why she chose Ancilla, Schurtz replied, “I chose Ancilla, because I really wanted somewhere that would allow me to bowl past high school and somewhere that I would receive one on one attention. I think Coach Franklin is a great coach and I look forward to bowling for him next year.”

Schutz is the daughter of Kevin and Lynn Schutz. While attending Ancilla, she plans to major in Culinary Arts Management.
