Lady Chargers now 10-1

PLYMOUTH, IN – In the last non-conference game of the season, the Ancilla Women’s Basketball team pummeled Olive-Harvey 135-29, the most points ever scored in a game by the women’s basketball program.

Every single player scored in this game.  Top scorers include LaRae Roscoe (Fr., Indianapolis) and Jaden Conard (Fr., Wolcottville, IN) with 20 points apiece.  Sophomore Brynda Krueger (Mentone, IN) came through with 16.

By the end of the first quarter, the Chargers were up by 30 points, with the score at the half at 73-19.

Ancilla Head Coach Tom Robbins says, “We really shot the ball well for this game, and that was something that had carried over from practice this week (the team’s field goal percentage was 57 this game).  Our defense was also very focused and intense, which is something we have really been improving on over the course of this season.  I was proud of our effort and our teamwork.”

The Lady Chargers are now 10-1.  MCCAA Conference games begin on January 4th, when the Chargers will take on 6-4 Muskegon Community College.  Tip-off is at 5:30PM at LifePlex.
