BOYS B-BALL: CMA hands Laville their first loss of the season

Friday nights match-up between Laville and CMA had all the makings of being a close game by the end of contest.   The final 58-51 Eagles.

“We knew we were going to be challenged tonight by their defense.  Any Edison coached team is going to make you really work offensively.  I thought our group showed poise in key situations of the game handling the ball.”, said CMA Coach Mark Galloway.

Etobicoke, Ontario Canada native, Elijah Miller was a tough stop for the Lancer defense.  He scored 16 points including 2 steals in the final 1:30 of the game which resulted in two big CMA buckets to widen the lead to 5 for the Eagles, 55-51.  Lithuanian native Ignas Masiulionus nailed a three pointer to finalize the score 58-51.

CMA (4-1) travels to Twin Lakes tonight.  Laville (3-1) will travel to SB Washington on the 16th.
