Plymouth’s outstanding Athlete signs with IUPUI

Senior Allie Wright has committed her future athletic career to the IUPUI Jaguars.  She plans on running track for them.

Allie is the daughter of John and Stephanie Wright.  She is ranked 39th in her senior class of 287 students.  She is a three sport athlete for the Pilgrims as she also plays soccer and basketball along with running track.  Allie currently holds the 400 meter dash record for Plymouth.  Her time is 58 seconds.  The current record for the 400 meter dash at IUPUI is 64.63 seconds.

IUPUI has an enrollment of over 22,000 students.  It is located in downtown Indianapolis.  Their track program is in their infancy as they will be starting their fourth year of having a program this spring.  Allie’s indoor track season will begin in mid January.  IUPUI is a member of the Summit Athletic Conference.  Other members include Denver, IPFW, North Dakota St, Omaha, Oral Roberts, South Dakota, South Dakota St, and Western Illinois.
