Boys B-ball: Triton beats Bethany Christian despite trailing.

It was not the start you wanted as a Head Coach of a High School basketball team playing .500 ball.  A slow first quarter start led to an eventual 57-38 win over Bethany Christian on the road.

Triton was outscored 19-8 in the first quarter before their defense started to create their offensive opportunities. A 15-4 second quarter domination set the table for a lead that would never be relinquished the rest of the game for Triton.

Triton’s Skylar Reichert shot 9/16 (56%) from the floor resulting in 18 points.  The team shot 57% from the field for the night.

Triton’s early woes steamed from turnovers.  By nights end, 17 totaled which gave Bethany Christian 17 points.

Jordan Anderson added 10 points and Joey Corder plugged in 8 points and 6 rebounds for the Trojans.
