A strong (13-4) second half start proved to be enough for the Elkhart Central Blue Blazers in a 46-36 win over Triton.
Triton, coming off a 24 point Friday night against Warsaw at the Trench, mustered just 20 points after three quarters against Elkhart Central.
Skyler Reichert scored 10 points to lead Triton in scoring but was part of a weak shooting performance from outside (5/26). Triton shot 37 percent (14/38) shooting night overall from the floor. Jordan Anderson added eight points in the loss.
Treyton Harris (19 pts) and Cornell Connor (13 pts) paced the Blue Blazers.
Despite dropping to 4-5 overall and under .500 in the first half of a season for the third year in a row, Triton has a few games coming up which have led to winning success. You may recall Triton started its 2013 state run 2-3 before winning five straight to finish 20-6 overall.
Triton will host Elkhart Christian Thursday evening.
