PHS SWIMMING RESULTS 1-9-18
Congratulations to PHS Girls REPEAT with a victory over Memorial! Our boys were close but didn’t have the depth (as in fill all events) to beat Memorial. But EVERYONE swam GREAT!
Graci Holm, Rachel Jacobs & Tori Vancza went 1-2-3 in the 200 IM with Vancza outtouching (with a best time) the competition at the finish! Holm went on to win the 100 backstroke & Jacobs won the 100 fly.
Other firsts: Lizzy Bacon – 200 free (best time); Ava LoMagro – 50 & 500 free; Leah Smith – 100 free; Medley Relay – Holm, Summer Smith, LoMagro, L Smith; 400 Free Relay – LoMagro, L Smith, Jacobs, Holm
Best swims: Emily Cochern -200 free; Summer Smith – 50 free and breaststroke; Raven Gritton – fly; Ava Goodrich – 100 free; Sophia Smith – breaststroke.
The Girls continue to be a force to be reckoned with!
On the Boys’ side Alex Vancza took the only individual wins in the Individual Medley & the Fly – both best times. Mitch Rose & Cameron Riddle went 1 & 2 in a “too close for comfort” finish each having best times. Rose also had a best time in the 100 free.Kirk Hettich was 2nd in the back with a season best time & Daniel Stauffer placed 2nd in the breatstroke.
