Two Culver Military Academy prep lacrosse graduates will be playing against each other in the Under Armour All-America Lacrosse Classic Saturday, July 1.
Matt Schmidt and Jackson Reid were among the nation’s 44 top boys high school seniors selected to play in the 12th annual North-South game at Towson University’s Johnny Unitas Stadium. The game will be televised live at 8 p.m. on ESPNU.
Schmidt, a goalie from Worthington, Ohio, will be playing for the South team. He will be attending the University of Notre Dame this fall. Reid, a middie from Guelph, Ontario, will be suiting up for the North squad. He will be attending The Ohio State University.
The teams will be coached by a pair of Under Armour athletes and professional lacrosse stars. The North will be coached by Eric Law, while Jeremy Sieverts will lead the South. The boys game will be preceded by the girls all-star contest at 5:30 p.m.
