PHS Volleyball prepares for Sectional

The Doug West lead Plymouth Pilgrim (22-11) volleyball team will open up sectional play Tuesday night at South Bend Clay.  The Pilgrims open up Sectional 3 action vs. South Bend Adams at 7:00.  A victory would propel the Pilgrims into semi-final action Saturday morning against South Bend Riley at 11:00 AM.  Riley drew the bye in the 2014 Sectional.

The four teams in the lower bracket include South Bend Washington, Mishawaka, Penn, and the host South Bend Clay Colonials.  The Clay sectional winner would advance to regional action at the Sectional 4 winner on Tuesday, October 28th.

The Pilgrims finished the regular season 4-1 against Sectional 3 teams.  The Pilgrims defeated South Bend Clay, South Bend Washington, South Bend Riley, and Mishawaka.  Their only defeat among Sectional 3 teams was against Penn back on August 21st.
