Laville Jr. High basketball
The junior high basketball team opened the season at LaSalle Academy Monday.
The seventh grade lost, 29 – 8. Isaiah Herbster led the Lancers with five points.
In the eighth grade contest, the Lancers dropped a 40 – 33 decision. Rilye Cox scored 16 points, Luke Beehler seven and Carson Kubiak four.
The junior Lancers are back in action Wednesday, at home, against Schmucker beginning at 5 p.m.
