BB-RECAP: Triton win first NSC game
It was a NSC opener Friday for the New Prairie Cougars and the Triton Trojans at the Den. A 13 point edge (12-7) in the second quarter led the Trojans to a 54-36 win.
Triton shot 63% (12/19) from the floor in the opening half. New Prairie a lowly 5-20 (25%) in the first two quarters.
Skyler Reichert led all scorers with 19 points for Triton.
Masen Yeo scored 12 points while Joey Corder added 10 for the Trojans. Austin Sellers yanked 10 rebounds down.
Triton shot 61% (23/38) by the end of the game, including 5-11 outside the arc.
Jasen Webb led New Prairie with 17 points.
Triton will host Warsaw on Jan. 2. New Prairie hosts Wheeler Dec. 30.
