GB Recap: Plymouth drops 2nd straight
It’s never easy winning in the Panther Pit at Northwood. Saturday nights 2nd NLC game for Plymouth proved that very point. A 18-2 first quarter for Northwood led to a 43-38 loss on the road for the Lady Pilgrims.
A 11-4 second quarter performance allowed Plymouth to regain respectability to only trail 23-13.
After halftime adjustments, the game was determined by rebounding in which both teams were crashing hard. Plymouth just had trouble keeping Senior Jordan Frantz of the boards in the final two quarters. She finished with 7 rebounds on the night but all 4 offensive boards came in the final 8 minutes of the game. The Panthers finished with 27 as a team.
Plymouth has dropped 3 of their last 4 games. They will participate in the Wawasee Shootout on Jan. 3rd.
