GIRLS B-ball: Culver gets first NSC win over Bremen
Bremen was looking for their first win of the season while Culver was looking to rebound from a heartbreaking loss to Rochester. By games end, Culver held off the scrappy Lady Lions 58-39.
Culver capitalized on the lack of Bremen shooting opportunities. Bremen even ended with just 10 turnovers but only mustered 17 shots for the game. Culver, however, got 49 attempts shooting 42%.
Culver’s Tatum Schultz was all over the place offensively and defensively. She scored 16 and grabbed 6 rebounds, 3 offensive. Donna Zehner scored 24 points and got 10 rebounds for her double-double.
Culver ripped down 33 rebounds in the game.
Bremen was led by Micaela Box who scored 15 points.
Next up for Bremen is a home game vs Triton on Dec. 12th. Culver will host cross town rival CGA on Tuesday.
