5/30/15 Dalton Button
Our Tyler Roth/WKVI Athlete of the Week for this week is Dalton Button, a member of the Boys Track team at Winamac High School.
Dalton helped lead his team to its third consecutive Sectional Championship by winning the shot put. His throw of 46-feet 6 ¼ inches was nearly 2 feet better than his nearest opponent. He followed that up with his personal best throw of 47 feet in the Regional.
The Sectional championship made the veteran Senior 3-for-3 in his varsity sports at Winamac, advancing to Regional competition as part of the Sectional Championship football team, the Sectional Champion basketball team and the Sectional champion Track team!
Dalton has signed to play football at Marian University next Fall.
Dalton is the son of Dave Button and Monica Potthoff.
