Plymouth Golfers earn a 2nd place at the PCC
The Plymouth girls golf team earned a second place finish 365 in the 15th annual Plymouth Invitational at Plymouth Country Club on Tuesday. The Penn Kingsmen took the tournament title firing a 336. Full results
Miranda Dunn lead the Pilgrims with a team best 83. Randi got off to a hot start on the front. Starting on #3 Randi turned to the the back nine only +3. Lauren Kolter continued her hot start to the season with another career round 90 – out 46 – in 44. Lauren’s 44 on the back nine was best on the team. Plymouth players started on holes 1-3. Ally Dolan rebounded quite nicely in her second varsity match of her career besting her initial round by 17 shots firing a 99! Seniors Katie McDonald 95 and Morgan Oberley 97 rounded out the Varsity scoring.
All five Plymouth players broke 100 today and all finished inside the top 16 overall:

Morgan Oberley 15th
Ally Dolan 16th
The JV participated alongside the Varsity but didn’t place in the field scoring wise. The JV team total of 455 would’ve been good enough for 8th place! Junior Katie Johnson lead the JV and started her season off with a bang firing a very steady 93. Rounding out the scoring for the JV: Emily Cochern 115, Jennah Nifong 121, Meghan Scott 126, Brittany Klotz 143.
The ladies open their 9 hole portion of the season Thursday at PCC versus Mishawaka Marian and Winamac starting at 5pm. Our season is off to a very positive start!
