The Plymouth girls golf team defeated Triton in their final regular season match of the 2015 season at Plymouth Country Club on Wednesday evening.

Our four seniors we’re celebrated before and after the match with a luau theme. Many thanks to the underclassmen parents and players for their wonderful decor, effort, and food!
Playing alongside for the first time this season Seniors Randi Dunn 42 and Morgan Oberley 49 lead the field. Both ladies rounds we’re highlighted by two exceptional birdies on #4! Senior Katelynn Culp followed closely and supported fellow classmate Katie McDonald 48. Katie’s 48 tied her season best round. All four of these ladies have invested a huge amount of time and effort in our program!
Tonight’s win caps a very successful season, Varsity 11-3 – JV 3-1. Not to be overlooked Junior Katie Johnson fired a very solid ball striking 44. Sophomore Jennah Nifong carded a 53. No JV match was contested.
Wednesday’s match was the girls final tuneup for Saturday’s sectional at Stonehenge on Saturday morning. Our girls tee off starting at 11am. Top 3 teams advance to Regional. We play alongside last Saturday’s foes Northwood (favored) and Wawasee.
