10-3-15 Athlete of the Week
Our Tyler Roth/WKVI Athlete of the Week for this week is Kooper Broeker, a member of the Boys Tennis Team at Knox High School.
Kooper helped lead his team to their best record in history also setting a school record for wins at #3 singles. In a season that saw the team go 13-1 before losing to CMA in the championship round of the Sectional, Kooper was 18-2, and led his team to the first-ever Hoosier North Athletic Conference round-robin championship and was named All-Conference in the HNAC tournament. In addition, he didn’t lose a single set in any conference match.
Just a sophomore, Kooper was All-Conference in basketball and was the MVP of the track team as a freshman. In addition to his athletic achievements, Kooper is an outstanding student with a 5.4 gpa!
Kooper is the son of Denise and the late Sean Broeker.
