Tim Davis wins the Prestigous Falcon Award
The John Glenn School Corporation is honored to announce that Mr. Tim Davis is the 2015 Falcon Award recipient. The Falcon Award is given annually to an individual who has personally given much time and effort to the student-athletes of the John Glenn School Corporation.
Mr. Davis started his professional educational career with the school corporation with the 1981-1982 school year as a fifth grade teacher and a middle school football assistant. He as been active with the educational and the athletic needs ever since.
As a coach, Mr. Davis was involved with the middle school football program for four years, middle schoolgirls basketball for four years, and both boys and girls elementary basketball, winning several North Liberty and LaVille tourneys.
At the high school level, Mr. Davis coached cross country for 1 year, head boys track coach and assistant girls track coach for 10 years, winning several Northern State Conference championships.
In non-coaching positions, Mr. Davis has been the varsity football time keeper for 18 years and has worked with basketball programs for 14 years as a timer and score book keeper. At the middle school level, Mr. Davis has served as a cross country and track starter.
Mr. Davis will receive the Falcon Award this coming Friday at half time of the varsity basketball game with South Bend Clay. The junior varsity game will start at 6:00. A game heard on MAX 98.3FM. Bring your radios if you coming!
