Boys Soccer play….Argos improved to 16-1-1 on the season with a
5-1 win over Bremen. Owen Nifong scored a goal and 2 assists in the win.
The Plymouth Rockies soccer team are now one step closer to the IHSAA Sectional Championship as they defeated CMA Wednesday night at Don Kindt Soccerplex by a score of 3-1.
Midway through the second half, the Rockies took a three goal lead. The Rockies gave up a meaningless goal with two minutes to go in the contest.
The win moves the Rockies to 13-3 on the year. The IHSAA Sectional championship game will be Saturday evening at Kindt Soccerplex. The opening kick will take place at 6:00 PM. The Rockies will face Wawasee. The Rockies recently defeated Wawasee 5-0.
With 10 minutes to left to play in the Sectional match-up between Bethan Christian & John Glenn, a handball was called on the Falcons, which led to the only goal scored in the game off a Penalty Kick, as Bethany Christian advances to face Mishawaka Marian in the Championship Game on Saturday.
It was a nail-biter in the Tennis Championship match-up between Plymouth & CMA. In the end, the host team won 3-2, ending Plymouth’s season.
