TYLER ROTH/WKVI ATHLETE OF THE WEEK (09/30/17)
Our Tyler Roth/WKVI Athlete of the Week for this week is Collin Barker, a member of the Football Team at John Glenn High School.
Collin helped lead his team to a big 17-0 win over arch-rival LaVille with outstanding play on both sides of the ball. The 6-5, 190 pounder led the team in tackles with 6 and had a fumble recovery.
On the offensive side, the veteran Senior was a thorn in the side of the visiting Lancer defemse all night, hauling in 4 passes for 60 yards and a touchdown.
Collin, the son of Everett and Brenda Barker, is also a member of the Falcon Basketball team.

Collin will receive a certificate suitable for framing, a history of the Award and a T-shirt commemorating his achievement.
He’ll also be eligible for our Tyler Roth/WKVI Athlete of the Year Award next Spring, which carries with it a beautiful plaque and a college scholarship, compliments of WKVI and the Family of Tyler Roth.
