Tyler Roth/WKVI Athlete of the Week 9-15-18
Our Tyler Roth/WKVI Athlete of the Week for this week is Megan Kobelt, a member of the Girls Golf Team at John Glenn High School.
Megan led her team to a third-place finish in the LaPorte Sectional as the Falcons advanced to Regional play at Lafayette’s Battleground course. The Freshman shot a solid 95 on the tough Beechwood course after leading her team with a low stroke average of 45 as the team went 20-7 during the regular season, including a 9-3 record in the rugged Northern Indiana Conference. She was also named to the All-Conference 3rd team and is a multi-year Marshall County Junior Golf Champion.
Megan is the daughter of Clay and Roxan Kobelt.
