Tyler Roth/WKVI Athlete of the Week Carter Stevens
Our Tyler Roth/WKVI Athlete of the Week for this week is Carter Stevens, a member of the Football Team at Culver Community High School.
Carter was a dominant player for the Cavaliers as they went on the road to defeat South Central 52-22. the 6-0 240lb senior running back carried the ball 21 times for 183 yards, scoring three touchdowns and four 2-point conversions in the process. 132 of those yards came in the second half as the Cavaliers broke away from a one touchdown lead. Carter was one of three Cavaliers who rushed for 100+ yards!
Carter is the son of Chris and RaeAnne Stevens, and also participates in wrestling and track for the Cavaliers.

Carter will receive a certificate suitable for framing, a history of the award, and a t-shirt commemorating his achievement, and will be a future guest on the Saturday Sportsline. Carter will also be eligible for our Tyler Roth/WKVI Athlete of the Year Award later this Spring, which carries with it a beautiful plaque and a college scholarship, compliments of WKVI and the family of Tyler Roth.
