Tyler Roth/WKVI Athlete of the Week 9-26-2020
Our Tyler Roth/WKVI Athlete of the Week for this week is Adelaide Young-Brust, a member of the Girls Cross Country Team at South Central High School.
Adelaide won the Small School Division at the New Prairie Invitational after finishing second in the tough race a year ago. The veteran senior finished with a time of 20:08, her best run of the season!
A 4-year letter winner in cross country, Adelaide has also been active in the Academic Super Bowl, the International Thespian Society, the National Honor Society, and as part of the Luger Series Next Generation Leadership program.
Adelaide is the daughter of Kirt and Jessica Young-Brust.

Adelaide will receive a certificate suitable for framing, a history of the award, and a T-shirt commemorating her achievement. She will also be eligible for our Tyler Roth/WKVI Athlete of the Year Award next Spring, which carries with it a beautiful plaque and a college scholarship compliments of WKVI and the family of Tyler Roth.
