Tyler Roth/WKVI Athlete of the Week for 1-23-2021
Our Tyler Roth/WKVI Athlete of the Week for this week is Lilliann Frasure, a member of the Girls Basketball Team at North Judson-San Pierre High School.
Lily made history in leading her team to a 76-43 win over Winamac in a must win matchup in the Hoosier North Athletic Conference. The 5’10 Senior scored a career best 50 points, which included twelve made three-point shots, setting records for the school, the gym, and the HNAC for made three-point baskets. She also went a perfect six-for-six at the free throw line, hauled down nine rebounds, and came up with four steals in the win. In addition, her first seventeen points got her past the 2,000 point mark for her career, only the second Bluejays to surpass that mark!
A multi-sport athlete, Lily was a big part of the Volleyball State Championship team in her Sophomore year. She has committed to playing collegiate basketball at Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion. Lily is the daughter of Ruby and Rabe Frasure.
Congratulations to Lilliann Frasure of North Judson-San Pierre High School, our Tyler Roth/WKVI Athlete of the Week!
Lily will receive a certificate suitable for framing, a history of the award, a T-shirt commemorating her achievement, and will also be a guest on a future edition of the Saturday Sportsline on WKVI.
Lily will be eligible for our Tyler Roth/WKVI Athlete of the Year Award next Spring which carries with it a beautiful plaque and a college scholarship compliments of WKVI and the family of Tyler Roth!
