New faces in Charger athletic department

DONALDSON — Marian University Ancilla recently made some exciting changes in their athletic department, announcing four new appointments that are set to bring fresh perspectives and expertise to their teams.

Kyle Allison has been appointed as the new athletic director. With an impressive background as the Director of Cross Country/Track and Field at the University of Saint Francis for the past seven years, Kyle brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to his new role. His successful coaching career, which includes coaching 16 NAIA All-Americans, demonstrates his ability to lead and develop athletes to their fullest potential.

Heaven Donovan, previously the assistant coach and recruiting coordinator, has stepped up to become the Head Volleyball Coach for the Chargers. With her experience and dedication to the program, Heaven is well-equipped to lead the team to new heights. Her understanding of the team dynamics and her commitment to recruiting top talent will undoubtedly contribute to the continued success of the volleyball program.

Chuck Bowen, who has been serving as the interim Head Baseball Coach, has had the interim tag removed and officially takes on the role as the Head Baseball Coach for the Chargers. With his experience and passion for the sport, Chuck is poised to lead the baseball team to future victories. His dedication to the program and his ability to develop players will undoubtedly make a positive impact on the team’s performance.

Lastly, Josh Pitts, who previously served as an assistant baseball coach, will now be taking the reins of the softball program as the Head Coach. With his experience and knowledge of the game, Josh is well-prepared to lead the softball team to success. His ability to mentor and develop players will be instrumental in shaping the team’s future.
