Plymouth swimmers split meet with NorthWood
PLYMOUTH — Plymouth Swimming took on Northwood on Tuesday at the Bardwell Aquatic Center.
The girls won against conference rival, Northwood. The boys were defeated but swam
hard, had great improvements, and finished with their top score of the season.

● Vivian Wheeler -1st in 200 Free (2:11.66) and 100 breaststroke (1:15.53)
● Freddy Kallenberg – 1st in 200 Free (2:11.87) and 2nd in 500 free (6:17.51)
● Kieran Gritton – 1st in 50 free (27.51)
● Kyle Rumpler – 1st in 500 free (6:02.03)
● Joseph Stauffer – 1st in 100 Breaststroke (1:06.17) and 2nd in 200 IM (2:22.61)
● Plymouth girls swept 100 Freestyle: 1st – Lauren Kopetski, 2nd – Marisa
Langfeldt, and 3rd – Leni Sailer
● Plymouth Girls and Boys finished 1st and 2nd in the final 400 free relays of the
meet.
“I am so proud of how many swimmers had best times tonight,” said Plymouth coach Haley Church. “It takes courage to try something new and so many of our athletes were willing to take that risk tonight. We had some season bests and highlights that were impressive. For our boys to get 1st and 2nd in a relay is a huge feat. This team is full of athletes but most importantly great
people.”
PHS travels to Wawasee for an Invitational on Saturday.
