Argos’ Redinger named nation’s most underrated hoops player
Argos senior guard Sam Redinger has been voted the most underrated high school girls basketball player in the country.
SBLive conducted the poll asking voters to vote for the most underrated girls and boys players in the nation.
With nearly 52,000 votes Redinger topped California’s Carrington Davis.
She is the state’s leading scorer, averaging 32 points per game.
Earlier this season she scored a school-record 55 points in a win over Oregon-Davis. In that contest, Redinger buried a school-record 10 three-pointers.
Redinger’s 55-point game ranks among the top-15 scoring performances in the history of Indiana high school girls basketball.
In November, Redinger established the school record scoring 50 points against Trinity.
On Wednesday, she will lead her 9-12 Dragons into the state playoffs. First up for Argos is 8-10 Westville in Sectional 50 at Culver Community High School.
Needless to say, a gigantic congratulations goes out to her on this outstanding achievement!
