Schedule changes
PLYMOUTH – In anticipation of the winter storm this weekend, the Northern Lakes Conference has made the following changes to the championship meets scheduled for Saturday:
NLC WRESTLING CHAMPIONSHIP MEET AT MISHAWAKA: Start time has been delayed to 1:00 PM. Doors will open for spectators at noon.
NLC SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIP MEET AT NORTHRIDGE: Diving prelims will now begin at 1:00 PM. Swimming and diving finals will begin at 5:00 PM. Doors will open for spectators one hour before each session.

HS girls basketball
Cavs drop close one
CULVER – Visiting Frontier stormed back in the third quarter to eke out a 34-33 win over Culver Wednesday. Grace Sieber led the Lady Cavaliers in scoring with 19 points and had five steals.

BHS loses on the road
ELKHART – The Bremen HS girls basketball team lost at Elkhart 72-50. Kila Foster led the Lady Lions with 26 points. Other scorers were: Emma Kincaid 10, Eliana Grubbs 10 and Mickie Shively with 4.

LV pins Adams
LAKEVILLE — The varsity wrestling team played host to South Bend Adams in a non-conference match.
LaVille picked up five victories by fall – Peyton Cline, Jonah Skiles, Nehemiah Stanley, Jonathan Neese, and Ezekiel Jones – en route to a 45-30 victory over the Eagles.
Brock Gest also earned a win by a 10-3 decision for LHS.
Coach Chip Cochran’s club returns to action on January 11 against Hoosier North rival Winamac. The first match is scheduled to start at 6 p.m.
