Argos coach set to take over Knox hoops program
Argos boys basketball head coach Jason Breden will be taking over the boys basketball program at Knox High School pending School Board approval tonight.
Breden takes over the Redskins program after Joe Eskridge, who was 19-26 in two seasons at Knox, resigned this off-season.
Breden compiled a 42-27 record in three seasons at Argos after taking over the Dragon program in 2021.
Breden’s best season at Argos came in 2021-22 when the Dragons went 17-6.
This past season Argos struggled to a 10-13 record.
He is a 2016 graduate of LaVille High School and graduated from Indiana University-South Bend.
At LaVille, Breden played three sports – soccer, basketball and ran track.
He was a member of the Lancers’ 2015 sectional championship basketball team and scored 455 points during his high school basketball career.
Prior to going to Argos, Breden was an assistant basketball coach for Michael Edison at LaVille.
