MAX’s Prep Gridiron Elite 11

As we embark on yet another Indiana high school football season, it’s worth noting northern Indiana has some of the best teams in the state of Indiana, along with some high-profile players and coaches.

Of the seven teams MAX 98.3 FM WYMR regularly covers, two are ranked among the top 10 in their class and another is receiving votes to be in the top 10 in the preseason polls.

Triton is No. 7 in Class 1A and LaVille is No. 8 in the same class.

Bremen received votes to be in the top 10 in 2A.

The dedication and loyalty that Coach Andy Dorrel has shown at Culver Academy is impressive to say the least. Dorrel enters his 27th season on the shores of Lake Maxinkuckee.

Then there’s Jeff Kaiser, LaVille’s head coach who in is first year in charge of the Lancer program led the Big Blue to an 11-2 record and sectional crown.
