MAX’S Top Area HS Football Performers Week #6

By far the biggest Indiana high school football game in our area last week was Plymouth’s overtime victory at NLC rival Warsaw.

Not only did the Rockies’ win send shockwaves throughout northern Indiana, but it’s safe to say it jolted the entire state.

Credit to Plymouth head coach Adam Handley, his entire coaching staff and certainly the Rockie players.

It was easily Plymouth’s biggest win in years.

Other winners in our area included Bremen, which picked up a road triumph at Glenn, and Culver Academy, which ran its record to 5-1 on the season thanks to a thrilling seven-point win over visiting Kankakee Valley.

Speaking of the Falcons, they will be featured on MAX’s Game of the Week on Friday as they travel to LaVille. MAX’s coverage of that game will begin at 6 p.m.

The Rockies hope to make it four wins in a row when they host Northwood Friday. That game will be on MAX983.net and starts with the Pregame Show a 6:30 p.m.

Don’t forget the Plymouth game will also be replayed on MAX 98.3 FM Saturday starting at 9 a.m.

Other action includes Triton trying to bounce back from its shutout loss to No. 1 North Judson. The Trojans will play at 2-4 Caston.

Bremen goes out of conference this week to play at Culver Academy.

Meanwhile Culver Community will look to end its losing skid as it travels to 5-1 Pioneer.

However, before we get into Week #7 of the regular season, let’s reflect on last week.
