MAX’S Top Area HS Football Performers Week #8
Culver Academy is our area’s only one-loss team heading into the final week of the regular season of high school football.
The Eagles traveled down to central Indiana last Friday where they picked up a 30-20 victory over ranked Heritage Christian.
Culver Academy is 7-1 on the year.
Bremen even its record at 4-4 with a thrilling 46-38 victory over visiting Knox.
Triton was the only other team in the area to pick up a W a week ago. The Trojans defeated ranked Pioneer 28-21.
Plymouth, Glenn, Culver Community and LaVille will all be looking to win tonight so they can carry some momentum into the opening round of sectionals, which begin Oct. 25.
Our MAX Game of the Week tonight will be LIVE from The Rockpile where Plymouth will host top-ranked and undefeated Concord. MAX’s coverage begins at 6:30 p.m.
We will also have Plymouth’s big game at No. 5 Mishawaka on MAX983.net. Coverage for that game will begin at 6:30 p.m.
As always the Plymouth game will be replayed on MAX 98.3 FM Saturday starting at 9 a.m.
