Pilgrims get road win at Wabash

WABASH — Plymouth’s Pilgrims had a big second half to take a win at Wabash on Tuesday night 43-32.
Plymouth led by one at the halftime break but took over the game with a 15-point third quarter and coasted to the win.
“I’m proud of our response in the second half after a slow start to the game,” said Plymouth coach Greg Miller. “The boys gave it their best effort to finish and ended up pulling away late.”
“We struggled to convert quality looks around the rim early on,” he said. “Defensively, we were solid for all four quarters, which was the difference in the game tonight. We have a lot to clean up heading into our first conference matchup Friday night.”
Trent Van Duyne led the way for Plymouth with 17 points, Kadyn Eller had 14.
Plymouth is now 3-3 and will be in action again on Friday at home against NorthWood.
