Pilgrims take tough loss at LaPorte
LAPORTE — Plymouth hit the road on Friday falling to LaPorte by a final of 62-54.
The Pilgrims led at half but couldn’t hold off LaPorte’s offense.
“Proud of the fight and effort of our boys tonight,” said Plymouth coach Greg Miller. “A tough loss on the road to a quality Laporte team. A few missed opportunities down the stretch were the deciding factor in this game.”
Preston Wolfe led the way for Plymouth with 18 points, and Kadyn Ellery added 17.
Plymouth’s JV lost to LaPorte 36-32.
Kyleb Ellery had 11 points on the night, Christian Crua-Mahler had 10 and Grayson Terrone added 7.
Plymouth is now 2-2 on the season and will be at South Bend Riley on Tuesday.
