Lady Pilgrims win fourth straight

PLYMOUTH — The Plymouth Lady Pilgrims hosted NLC opponent, Concord, on Saturday afternoon and made it four straight in the win column 41-30.
The Lady Pilgrims started out strong offensively thanks to triples from Tynley Gantz and Chloe Horton and buckets inside from Sophie Miller.
Plymouth’s stifling defense allowed Lena Jones to push the ball ahead in transition and find her teammates early in the offense.
Plymouth closed out the first quarter 18-7 and then held Concord at arm’s length the rest of the way.
The Plymouth defense made finding good shots difficult for Concord with the result of holding them 10 points underneath their average score.
Chloe Horton led with 10 points and four rebounds, Sophie Miller added 9 points and 6 rebounds, Lena Jones had eight points, eight assists, five rebounds, and two steals. Tynley Gantz contributed seven points, three rebounds, and four steals.
Plymouth will be back in action, weather permitting, Tuesday night against St. Joe.
