MUAC’s Eubanks Player of the Week
Freshman Santana Eubanks has been instrumental in the Chargers’ success in 2024-2025, and Tuesday morning the 5-7 forward was acknowledged for her strong play in last week’s 64-51 win at Kalamazoo Valley Community College by earning MCCAA Western Division Player of the Week honors.
In that specific game, Eubanks scored 20 points on 9-16 shooting, she hauled in 10 rebounds, she handed out 4 assists, and she collected 3 steals. That marked the 7th time this season she has posted a double-double, and at the conclusion of Monday night’s win, that was extended to 8 double-doubles on the season, including 4 games in a row.
Eubanks comes to Marian University Ancilla from Kentwood, Michigan, where she attended East Kentwood High School. She is actually the only Charger on the current Women’s Basketball team not from Indiana, and she plans to also race for the Charger Track & Field team later this Spring as a talented sprinter.
