Falcon wrestlers close their careers in semi-state

EAST CHICAGO — John Glenn wrestlers Brody King and Walter Drews competed at the IHSAA Semi-State in East Chicago on Saturday. Both wrestlers ended their careers at John Glenn with stellar senior seasons.
At 126 lbs, King was matched up with Alfredo Oriegel from Rensselaer Central. Losing in a hard-fought match 20-4. Brody finished his senior season with a record of 33-4 and a career record of 131-25.
At 138 lbs Drews was paired with Cooper Wilkins of Portage. Fighting till the very end, Walter ended his senior season with a record of 34-9 and a career record of 127-36.
