Plymouth girls take NLC win over NorthWood

PLYMOUTH — In a game you heard here on MAX 98.3, the Plymouth Lady Pilgrims hosted NLC opponent Northwood on Saturday night. After a slow, physical first quarter, Plymouth’s defense sparked momentum, highlighted by Brooklyn Scruggs’ energy off the bench, and took a 48-26 win.
Plymouth was forced to go deep into its bench in the second quarter due to foul trouble, yet continued to create separation through strong team defense and an efficient offensive effort led by Olivia Warner.
The Lady Pilgrims carried that energy into the third quarter, where Lydia Wray scored 12 of Plymouth’s 19 points to help maintain control. Plymouth dictated the pace of play throughout the evening, executing effectively on both ends of the floor.
