Bremen girls 6th at Hoosier State Relays

INDIANAPOLIS — The Lady Lions of Bremen Track and Field took a 6th-place finish at the Hoosier State Relays state indoor meet on Saturday.
The girls had to qualify for the state meet by competing in an indoor qualifying meet and declare as one of the top 24 relays or individuals in the state for the 1-3A class. Going into the Hoosier State Relays on Saturday, multiple teams knew they had a chance to medal as one of the top 9 teams in the state competition.
Skylee Feathers represented the Lady Lions as the lone participant in the high jump competition.
The 4×200 relay team of senior Sara Sahlhoff, sophomore Kate Kincaid, sophomore Sophia Sahlhoff, and senior Emma Kincaid dropped multiple seconds off their qualifying time for an impressive 1:48.33 that would see them medal as 5th overall.
The 4×400 relay of Sara Sahlhoff, freshman Lola Bender, and the Kincaid sisters had an incredible race in the final heat and ran the 4th fastest time in school history with a 4:08.16, placing them 3rd overall in the state competition.
