Bremen outhit by NorthWood
NAPPANEE — The Lady Lion Softball team played much better defense in Game 2 on the young season, but could not outhit and outscore the Panthers of Northwood, losing 10-5 on Saturday in Nappanee.
Eliana Grubbs scored 4 runs, collecting 3 hits, including a double and a walk. Younger sister Maycee had a pair of sacrifice flies, picking up 3 RBIs. Madi Milleman had a pair of hits, and Makenzie Shumaker and Bella Calentine each had hits for the Lions.
Faith Hostetler scored in the 7th inning after an Aubri O’Keefe single.
Bremen JV lost 4-3.
