Tyler Roth/WKVI Athlete of the Week 9-1-18

Our Tyler Roth/WKVI Athlete of the Week for this week is Hailey O’Brien, a member of the Girls Cross Country Team at LaCrosse High School.

Hailey took First Place in the prestigious 421 Cross Country meet on the challenging West Central Course.  Just a Freshman, she clocked in a time of 23:15.41 almost nearly 25 seconds ahead of her closest competitor. With competitors from 6 schools along U.S. Highway 421 participating, the upperclass competition was tough for the first year runner.

A 5-sport athlete, Hailey is also playing volleyball this Fall and plans on participating in basketball, track and softball later in the year.

Hailey is the daughteer of Ken O’Brien and Sara Tetzloff.
