Tyler Roth/WKVI Athlete of the Week 10-5-19

Our Tyler Roth/WKVI Athlete of the Week for this week is Trent Fox, a member of the football team at Winamac High School.

Trent led his team to victory over cross-county rival West Central to give the Warriors the traveling tomahawk again. The 5-9, 167lb running back garnered 196 yards on 29 touches as the Warriors defeated the Trojans 52-8. Trent ran the ball 28 times for 136 yards and caught 5 passes for 68 yards, scoring 4 touchdowns in the process as he rushed for 3 while also catching 1 off a pass from Keith Dell. In addition, he was able to accumulate 3 tackles on defense. The Junior also plays basketball and baseball for the Warriors.

Trent is the son of Rose and Will Fox.

Congratulations to Trent Fox of Winamac High School, our Tyler Roth/WKVI Athlete of the Week. Trent will receive a certificate suitable for framing, a history of the Award, and a t-shirt commemorating his achievement. He will also be a future guest on the Saturday Sportsline.

Trent will also be eligible for our Tyler Roth/WKVI Athlete of the Year Award next Spring, which carries with it a beautiful plaque and a college scholarship, compliments of WKVI, and the family of Tyler Roth.
