Tyler Roth/WKVI Athlete of the Week 2/6/2021
Our Tyler Roth/WKVI Athlete of the Week for this week is Caleb Good, a member of the Wrestling Team at Winamac High School.
Caleb helped lead his team to a second place finish in the Sectional with one of the best days of his career. In 3 matches, he quickly disposed of opponents from Frontier in a minute and 24 seconds, from Rensselaer in a minute twelve, and from North White in 1:26.
The Junior, wrestling at 152, led his team in pins, takedowns and team points. He was a big factor in the Team’s 2nd place finish in the Goshen Invitational as well as in the Sectional.
Caleb is the son of Jeff and Shirley Good and also plays in the band and plays baseball for the Warriors.
Congratulations to Caleb Good of Winamac High School, our Tyler Roth-WKVI Athlete of theWeek.
Caleb will receive a certificate suitable for framing, a history of the Award, and a T-shirt commemorating his achievement and he’ll also be a future guest on the Saturday Sportsline.
He will also be eligible for our Tyler Roth/WKVI Athlete of the Year Award next Spring which carries with it a beautiful plaque and a college scholarship, compliments of WKVI and the Family of Tyler Roth.
